🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Startup Mentors / Fintech Advisors to support early-stage and scaling fintech companies operating in or expanding into the U.S. market. This is a flexible, impact-driven opportunity for senior professionals who want to work closely with founders, share expertise, and help shape innovative fintech businesses navigating the evolving financial services landscape.
Advisors may contribute across areas such as product strategy, regulatory guidance, payments infrastructure, digital lending, compliance, financial partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and international expansion.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to fintech founders and leadership teams.
- Advise on the U.S. regulatory environment, including consumer finance and compliance frameworks.
- Support product-market fit, business model validation, and growth strategy.
- Assist with fundraising strategy, investor readiness, and market positioning.
- Offer expertise in payments, lending, digital banking, or financial infrastructure models.
- Guide go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies within financial services.
- Provide insights on risk, compliance, and governance in regulated environments.
- Facilitate introductions across fintech, banking, VC, and ecosystem networks.
- Participate in advisory sessions, workshops, or structured engagements.
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in fintech or financial services.
- Senior leadership experience within fintech firms, banks, payments companies, or lending platforms.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. fintech ecosystem and regulatory landscape.
- Experience working with startups, scale-ups, or venture-backed companies.
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
- Well-established professional network across fintech, banking, or venture capital.
- Ability to deliver practical, actionable insights to founders.
⭐ Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with U.S. regulatory frameworks (consumer finance, compliance, payments regulation).
- Background as a founder, C-suite executive, or board member.
- Experience in venture capital, fintech investment, or consulting.
- Track record of supporting fundraising, scaling, or market expansion.
- Advisory or non-executive board experience.
