🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Fintech Advisors / Startup Mentors to support early-stage and scaling fintech companies operating in or expanding into the UK market. This is a flexible, impact-driven opportunity for senior professionals who want to work closely with founders, share industry expertise, and help shape innovative fintech businesses.
We particularly welcome advisors with experience in FCA-regulated environments, fintech infrastructure, digital lending, payments, and financial partnerships. Advisors may contribute across product strategy, regulatory strategy, payments infrastructure, compliance, growth strategy, and international expansion.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to fintech founders and leadership teams.
- Advise on UK regulatory landscape, including FCA frameworks where relevant.
- Support business model validation and fintech product-market fit.
- Assist with fundraising strategy, investor readiness, and fintech positioning.
- Provide insights into payments, lending, digital banking, and financial infrastructure models.
- Guide go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies in financial services.
- Offer risk, compliance, and governance insights in regulated environments.
- Facilitate introductions within fintech, banking, VC, and ecosystem networks.
- Participate in advisory sessions, workshops, and structured engagements.
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in financial services or fintech.
- Senior leadership experience in banks, fintech firms, payments, lending, or financial infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of the UK fintech ecosystem and regulatory environment.
- Experience working with startups, scale-ups, or venture-backed companies.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
- Established professional network across fintech, banking, or venture capital.
- Ability to provide practical, actionable guidance to founders.
⭐ Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with FCA regulatory frameworks.
- Prior founder, C-suite, or board-level experience.
- Background in VC, fintech investment, banking innovation, or consulting.
- Experience supporting fundraising, scaling, or international expansion.
- Advisory or non-executive board experience.
